Went to look at the gardens. Full of daffodils, white cherry trees, magnolias. Daphne scent on the breeze. Visit the rose garden and children running about having fun. Nice information dotted about. Lovely gardens. Didnt see palace, didnt have time

I am a big fan of the tudors and in general I love history. Oh this place is a must see for everyone who loves history. I felt at the XVI century. Gardens lovely, great point to buy a guidebook! I do recommend Hampton Court

Aside from the cafe there isn't anywhere to buy food and drink. My bag wasn't checked and you can stroll around the gardens independently. Assuming you might be OK.

Hope this answer is not too late. Park free in Bushy park by the Diana fountain then 10min walk to the side entrance HCP opp Bushy p-ark entrance.
