This is a great place to go for a day out with the kids in the summer. Or perhaps walking your dog. It's been altered over the years so that there is an area for the kids to play in as well as just having...More

This is a spacious park ideal for walking along the river Wandle. It beats most parks in the area in terms of scenery and space. It is also a place where you can regularly see albino squirrels. There are facilities for bbq's and it is...More

When we lived nearby we would often pop in - or just cut across. Following the refurbishment it has made quite a nice park. There are always squirrels and, if you are lucky, one or both of a pair of herons might stop by to...More

It was given an makeover a couple of years ago and has just about matured. A key change was to open up the river Wandle which had been hidden in a culvert. For people like me there is a cafe and some good scenery. For...More

Wandle Park is nice to visit for a lunchtime walk. It isn't too busy, and there are many activities dotted around the park for exercise enthusiasts and kids. Really nice green spot in the middle of the 'concrete jungle'.

Good place for a short walk. Quiet and good to go around and enjoy the sunny days. Go and enjoy as looks safe.

Park was really dirty with loads of paper lying around and doggie p**. The grass was also long and just generally not looked after. The swings were also not safe for kiddies. Wont be visiting anytime soon.

Explored the area around Colliers Wood and stumbled across Wandle Park; a large green space with paths, play areas and tracks. It is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the main road outside, and provides you with a surprisingly tranquil environment

Do not recall seeing any signs regarding both matters, but have seen people with disposable as well as "usual" BBQs; alcohol has been seen to be consumed at the park.
