Good

Great selection of various shops and you can do loads out of the rain. Easy to park and plenty to do. Loads of places to eat and a little soft play area for small children. We always visit with our grandson when we visit. Keep visiting and spending here as it’s much more fun than online shopping

A bit sad really.
Jul 2019 • Couples
It is sad to say that Camberley town centre is dying slowly. The demise of House of Fraser will only hasten this demise. What was once a nice old fashioned high street is largely filled with take away, charity shops and units selling cheap tat.

The Mall is ok but small by modern standards and not a great selection if shops to be honest.

The best thing that the town has going for it are the restaurants in the Atrium and nearby Park Street. This stretch has been turned into a nice little piazza and has a decent choice of restaurants and eateries. The atrium has some more restaurant units and the (overly expensive) cinema etc.

Come for the shops but stay for the restaurants.

Helpful Make up Makeover
May 2017 • Solo
I’m one of those people who has worn make-up on rare occasions only, and as a result I have a drawer full of ancient beauty products. Although these don’t carry a ‘use by’ date, articles I’ve read tell me that I shouldn’t be applying ageing products to my skin as they carry an increased risk of introducing bacteria to sensitive areas, especially the eyes.

I’ve experienced social anxiety in some situations which has caused a flush to spread out from the centre of my face and show up in photos. With my niece’s wedding coming up on 27th May, I wanted to get some expert advice and some new products so that I could face the cameras with confidence.

Plucking up my courage, I booked a free Make up Makeover consultation with a beauty advisor in the Boots store at Obelisk Way in Camberley. Leanne had a friendly, professional attitude which soon put me at my ease and I was able to relax and fully enjoy the experience as she talked me through what she was doing. She tested my complexion with a special gadget to find out my natural skin tone: warm ivory. She applied a serum, day cream, eye Base, a green ’Colour Balancing' primer, foundation, bronzer and blusher, all the time explaining what she was doing.
For example, she suggested waterproof mascara just in case I shed a few tears of joy at the wedding. The three shades of eye shadow from a smokey palette set off my brown eyes, and a shade of lipstick that was close to my natural colouring completed the look which would carry me all through the happy day without looking out of place.

I gazed upon the new ‘me’ in the mirror, delighted to discover how the makeover enhanced my appearance. Gone were all traces of the redness. Instead my skin looked naturally radiant and even-toned. Finally I asked about removing the waterproof mascara and we added the Eye make up remover to my shopping list. Once the various special offers had been applied to my purchases, I left the shop happily carrying a bag full of all the products I needed to achieve the same results myself, with renewed confidence and a spend of under £100. Since then I’ve received a number of spontaneous compliments on my new look.
