A fun event for all ages whether you're travelling down the old railway line, getting off to continue your walk or on an immediate return trip.

My son loves trains and we did this ride was about 40 mins long and he loved it - only £4.50 for both of such so nice and cheap

We've come to this on a few occasions. It's a great day out! You can continue the walk after you've been on the steam train and there's even a little cafe at the station. It's great fun!

Step back in time and see real steam trains in action, its wonderful. Kids loveit, Dads, love it, its smells of coal, and they think its Thomas the Tank Engine.

If you are looking for a relaxed walk then look no further. The scenery is fantastic as is the array of wildlife that it is possible to see.

Visited today, personally I love things like this, admire the dedication of people who give their time to keep these places running, had a nice time then walked the rest of the way round the lake

In Rudyard there is the Rudyard Hotel which is about 10 minutes walk from the station. At the end of the line at Hunthouse Wood its about a half hour walk to the Knot Inn at Rushton.
