A gentle hill walk gets you to this wonderful old ruin. Look through every window to see Somerset sweeping around your feet. Free parking nearby ( a plus for a district/council that appears to overcharge for rural parking to walk headlands & hills)

Burrow Mump gives a fantastic viewing point of the Somerset levels. Its shape is a complete contrast to the levels. Best times to visit are either early morning or evening to watch the sun rise or set.
