Quite a steep climb but on a clear day you have stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Parking available just at the bottom of the Mump and a lovely pub, The King Alfred, just up the road

Lovely views of the Somerset levels at the top of the hill. Quite a steep hill so may be a bit of a struggle for people who are not so good on their feet

A fantastic bit of history to be seen here, the ruins of an ancient church on top of a steep hill. Well worth a visit.

Short, relatively steep climb to the top. The ruined church at the top is a bit of a let down - not as big as you might expect from the road, and restricted access. However, the views in all directions are fantastic, especially at sunrise...More

Some of the most beautiful countryside I know opens up when you look down from this quaint 'bump' in the landscape. For a short hike uphill the reward is a 360 degree vantage over the Levels and beyond.

A mini Glastonbury Tor with stunning views across the somerset levels. Easy parking, short walk to the top and no crowds. Try it at sunset on a sunny day or early morning before the mist has gone. Stunning! I've been here several times
