Great views of the levels and a great pub nearby too! It is however a steep climb to the top. Easy parking at the bottom.

We always use Burrow Mump as a travel point when out cycling. We can cycle to the top by circling the route up to eliminate some of the steep bits. Once you reach the top the views are fantastic.

If you can manage the climb to the top of Burrow Mump, you'll be rewarded with some of the best views across the Somerset levels. This place is so photogenic with the ruins of the chapel providing a perfect frame for the stunning surroundings.

This National Trust property towers, no pun intended, above Burrowbridge on the Somerset levels. You need to be fit and sure footed to tackle the paths to the top but the view is a worthwhile reward. Sheep are often grazing so don't bring a dog when they are present

This is a really cool find. We had lunch at The George Inn in Middlezoy which was excellent and then walked the roughly 2.5 walk to the mump. It was a really nice walk, easy but interesting scenery and the mump would be fun for kids.

Lovely little place and views from the top. Hill too small for my liking but nice to see something new.

Beautiful spot, beautiful views but the path was very muddy and slippy and walking up the grass wasn't much better - do be careful!

A gentle hill walk gets you to this wonderful old ruin. Look through every window to see Somerset sweeping around your feet. Free parking nearby ( a plus for a district/council that appears to overcharge for rural parking to walk headlands & hills) If walking care on roads is required as it's access is by narrow twisting roads without footpaths...
