We visited Sherwood Pines to check out what was available and what cost. There is ample parking in a lovely setting with the main area right adjacent to the car parks. The main activity seems to be mountain biking on the many & varied tracks through the forest. There are tracks to suit all abilities and you can ride them... More

My wife has been desperate to do the Gruffalo trail for some time now so with the sun shining over the bank holiday weekend we took a look. As referenced in previous reviews the parking machines don't yet take the new pound coins however there are 2 machines down near the information centre that take debt cards. Parking is quite... Lovely forest walk. Been with the dogs and with my partner. Was beautiful. Definetly recommend! Easy to navigate as signs everywhere. No liter anywhere. Beautifully kept.

Visited here yesterday for the first time as we are staying in a lodge nearby. Lovely weather, was actually quite hot and luckily the pine forest provided some shelter from the sun. We managed to walk in a big circle but felt lost a couple of times as there lacked signage once fairly deep into the forest. The parking was... More

I love to come here with my girlfriend. We come on bikes or just walk around. It is so large so you're not under other people's feet when walking around. It is such a well kept forest. Truly beautiful.

Lovely place to go. You're able to do a bike ride through the forest, go to GoApe and get involved with the activities there. Easily able to get lost in the forest because it's so big!

You could get lost in here for hours, completely away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life! Beautiful walks, cycle tracks, and a really nice cafe.

I really liked it here, there is so much to do, biking, go ape, segways and plenty of play areas for the kids. Obviously you need the weather and we were lucky it was a sunny afternoon. There are plenty of walks and a good café there.
