I took my 8 year old and my 95year old Gran. Both loved it. We explored the fairy trail and I even managed to push a wheelchair round most of the woodland walk. (You will need decent tyres but it’s ok). My gran then waiting...More

Beautiful walk around the grounds and by the river. Such a peaceful place to visit. I called in to the pop up market lots of excellent crafts and very unusual hand made items, brilliant for Christmas presents, sorry to mention it so early!!!

We visited the house and grounds and enjoyed both immensley. We were on a guided tour in the house and our guide was most informative. Beautiful furniture, lots of it Chippendale, fine glass and china and beautiful paintings. The gardens are extensive and well kept....More

We visited to attend the market. Held on the lawn in a huge marquee there were plenty of stalls selling lovely things. A good selection of crafts with no duplications. Afterwards a short walk to the tearoom. Good selection of traybakes, cakes and drinks.More

fee for house and gardens but you can just go into cafe. if going twice or more in the year buy a season ticket. cheaper.

Dogs are allowed in the gardens if kept on leads and any refuse is removed. We have a dog friendly room attached to the tearoom for you to take shelter and enjoy a meal. Guide dogs are allowed in all areas of the house.
