Lovely views

Lovely views with a bit of history along the way. Great for walking the dog but does get a bit windy.

Fantastic historic walk around the town. It can be as long or short as you wish as there are exits into the town.

Walked around the remains of the castle and ramparts on a very windy day but we still enjoyed it. Interesting history and still got the cannons and original structures from the wars centuries ago. Go here if in the area

Had a lovely stroll alongside the river from the Quay Walls to the castle ruins which we enjoyed exploring. You also get to walk under the magnificent Royal Border Bridge. It's also worth visiting Castle Vale Park where we sat and had a picnic in beautiful surroundings

Sited on the wonderful River Tweed and adjacent to the railway bridge (a sight in itself), it is well worth a visit to try and imagine all the life that went on here over the... More

The remains of Berwick upon Tweed Castle are central to the complex and fascinating history of this border town. Once there was a vital medieval Castle at the heart of Anglo- Saxon warfare. You will find the Castle and ramparts adjacent to the town's railway station and exploring this site can be part of a much lengthier walk around the... More

The ruins are worth seeing underneath in all its glory and beauty. The castle is near the railway bridge and tommy the millers.
