Worth the walk from the car park as you get one of the best beaches in the UK pretty much to yourselves! Take a picnic, take some beach sports and escape the crowds of Bamburgh.

Very attractive sand dune backed beaches a short stroll from the castle and the village. A seat at the top of one sand dune gives magical views

A great place to exercise your four legged friend. The beach is extensive and on a blowy day you can enjoy the full impact of the North (German) Sea.

We walked along the beach especially to see the best view of the castle. It's a huge beach so can't get crowded. Dogs allowed so enjoyed seeing a young dog trying to bite the waves. Sand dunes, rock pools, it has everything. Saw a variety...More
