We took our 2 year old granddaughter to Barnwell Country Park. The sun was shining and we had a lovely 2 hours walking around and then playing in the activity area, which was excellent.

Walked right round the outer path of this tranquil setting on a blazing hot day in June. Not many people about which was nice as it unencumbered our walk.
The yellow pond lilies were just starting to flower, which made the lakes very pretty.
Took my friend, who was visiting, for a lovely walk in the sun. Great views and nature. Two play areas for different ages groups. Friendly staff in the cafe which serves nice food. Only criticism is hair in food and dirty cutlery.
Lovley park, well maintained situated just outside Oundle. A couple of lakes with swans and ducks to wander around, a decent information office and it seems various events thorughout the year for families to partake in.
