Great at any time of the year, for walks, visiting the playpark or feeding the ducks! If you don't have breadcrumbs, buy duck feed at the cafe. There's a circular trail for walking around the reservoir. Or, you can take a side-trip to the community...More
Very peaceful during the week and great for cycling or walking the dog. The ice cream stand is always busy during the weekend and on Saturdays the play area is super busy. Very nice for feeding the ducks and taking pictures of the reservoir.
Perfect for the whole family but especially the kids.
The ducks swans and Canadian geese makes it idyllic.
The ice cream and coffee house are a bit pricey but a welcome rest to enjoy the view of the lake.
And the parking fee is extortionate.
Being used to visiting other parks in our area of Northamptonshire - Stanwick Lakes, Irchester Park, Sywell Park etc we were very disappointed with Daventry Park, it has much potential but looks tired and unloved!
