This is a lovely waterfall with nice photography opportunities. It's a very short amble (5 mins) from the pub and not much there other than the waterfall but still ... it's one of the few waterfalls you can walk behind and its combination of singular...More

Park at the Green Dragon Pub and pay at the bar. Pay kiosk and cafe in CP is now closed. About 300m walk to falls but worth the uphill trek just to see this amazing sight. Seat are available on the way where you can...More

We visited and duly paid our £2.50 each to walk the path to the falls - it was just a dribble after such a dry period would look better after heavy rain no doubt but still not sure why payment is charged or what it...More

You get to these falls through the George Inn and there is a cost (as previously mentioned). Price was a bit steep for a short walk and then the falls. They were impressive when we saw them as they were in flood. We did a...More

When I first married my husband whose family mostly came from the dales and Hawes, we went to Hardraw force, it was very basic back then, after all the money they have had, with nothing to do for it, it's a waterfall in a natural...More

Enter waterfall (and pay £2.50) through the pub. I think £2.50 is a bit steep for 'upkeep' of the waterfall. It's a very short walk to the waterfall. It's flat with some picnic benches available as well as areas for camping. The waterfall itself is...More

After seeing Hardraw force come out of the Green Dragon pub and turn right. Walk to the stream. Locals walk along there. However, there is lots of walks in the area. Just follow your nose. Beautiful area.

It would be accessible with care! You would not be able to get as far up to the waterfall as others, as the nearer you get, the more rough and uneven the terrain.
