Filey has a great wide beach read extends several miles until the cliffs rise up near Bempton. It tends to be quieter than other resorts on this stretch of coast, but has plenty of amenities either on the front or further back in the town....More

This is one of the best beaches in the country. Wide and long. You can walk out onto the Brigg and look for the seals. The coffee shop on the cobbled landing is worth a visit as well. Dog lovers paradise.

Excellant walk, nice and clean, good coffee shops to sit and watch time go by, also good food reasonably priced.

You can't get over the tremendous expanse of the beach. Although not always dry because of the tide it is wonderful to walk the entire length at shoreline

first time to this beach, its massive and really nice setting. we stayed at the bay so could wald down, the tide can change really quickly from a beach which is probably 200metres out, to when in about 10 metres.

What a wonderful day we all had on Filey beach. The weather glorious. Had fish and chips from the chip shop on cobble landing. Had ice creams from cobble landing too. Hired deckchairs. Everything only a stones through away. We will be back!!

Not really sure what you mean. As always in the UK beach fun is weather dependent. The east coast can be very windy and cold even on a sunny day.
