I'd been before a long time ago. I'd been on a crawl around a few pubs in the local villages at the time and remember being quite impressed (a) that I didn't fall in and (b) at the falls themselves. So I treated the girlfriend to the triple whammy of upper, middle & lower falls. You get as close as... More

Take your car, park at any one of the car parks near the area. Put some good boots on and warm clothing. Take a camera and just let your mind wander. Imagine the mill working, stop in the wonderful tea rooms. And walk between the falls. A beautiful and easy walk but do take care with the stones. They will... More

Great walk along the falls. All three. Well looked after paths though very steep from the Church Bank car park. Just natural unspoilt countryside. Great roar from the falls. We also saw anemones, bluebells and orchids amongst the trees. Parking wasn't too expensive.

Definately worth a visit. The car park is payable at £2.50 for 2 hours by machine so make sure you have some change. The top middle and bottom of the falls are easily accessible by foot with view platforms and well sign posted so easy to find. Make sure you wear suitable footwear as rocks can be slippery. Well worth... More

Went here with the kids recently, large car park 200m from the upper falls £2.50 for 2 hours. The views of the falls from the bridge are mindblowing, a triple drop fall that you can gaze at in wonder. We walked along the stream and threw some stones in and shown the kids some skimmers along the water. They loved... More

Highly recommend a visit to Aysgarth Falls. Scenery is beautiful and there are three waterfalls to see. There is a large car park and gift shop also

Two levels of falls. Worth a visit (particularly if you've seen Kevin Costner's Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, as the fight on the falls between Little John and Robin Hood was filmed here)... although I suspect can get fairly busy at times.

The falls are great, the fact they featured in Robin Hood makes them more special... But this isn't an attraction setup for tourists to visit. The main viewing point is a small road bridge which has no path, so you must take care, and for that reason the visit tends to be brief. There is a shop/cafe opposite but you... More

We have been coming to the Yorkshire Dales for over 30 years and Aysgarth Falls is always a lovely place to stop and see the falls. The visitors centre is helpful in providing information for some lovely walks from here. No doubt we'll be back again one day.
