The building is much bigger than it appears and the walled garden at the back is particularly attractive. When we visited there seemed to be a preponderance of information regarding World War I. Not my favourite period in history but an absolutely incredible amount of...More

Nipped in for some lunch a few days ago. Polite staff. Meals were good and the seating area was suitable with a high child for the you one. We were invited to look around the ground floor displays. Pleasant afternoon

Went there for a walk around, got really into the history of the place. You get lost in your mind, reliving how it must have been to have lived in those times. Will be going back with the family.

Had a lovely piece of chocolate cake that was very moist and was homemade. The pot of.tea was lovely too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted with getting the pushchair up and down a few steps. Garden is stunning would highly recommend.
