This is a great, local attraction. Lots for the children and great events for the adults. Some of the facilities are a little unkept and dirty, which is a shame. Overall, well worth a visit but I would say take a picnic.....

There is stuff they could do, like the playgrounds/ maze/ train/ music garden etc but not much that they couldn’t do at a local country park for an awful lot les money! I would wait til older.
