This place is a must if your visiting Fleetwood it has a lot of useful information about the town! More suited to the older generation but still enjoyed by the younger generation.

We went to the Museum on the last day of its opening for this year. We were met with a lovely lady who explained where everything was. All the staff were very knowledgeable especially the fishing of course. Afterwards we had an enjoyable tea and coffee in their lovely cafe.

Fleetwood museum is a hidden gem in a little town on the Fylde coast, hiding among historic buildings which are scattered around this beautiful area, with scenic views across the bay and 3 lighthouses, Fleetwood used to be a fishing town of mass proportion, inside the museum you will find loads of history on ships and fishing boats, and just... Finally made it to Fleetwood Museum. You get a grand welcome from the volunteers working there and the exhibits are well worth a look. Coffee and cake in the tearoom cheap and good.
