This is a great castle ruin. With a great museum. The views from the top of the museum. The climb to it is a bit steep but worth it.

Thank you for your review. The castle sits on a small hill in the centre of Clitheroe and provides amazing views over the whole of the Ribble Valley and across to Pendle Hill. The grounds, gardens and keep are free of charge.

Great views from the top of the castle. Cafe and small Museum with Plenty of Art for the Art lovers. Play area for the kids with a regular visit from from an Ice Cream van in the castle grounds. Public toilets on site, skate park...More

Set in a very nice village that is worth a look around. The castle itself is free to get to visit and has amazing views of the surrounding areas. The museum is worth a look and great for the kids as there are interactive exhibits...More

Thank you for your review. The castle grounds provide a great play area for children to run around and let off steam and there is plenty inside the museum to keep them occupied as well.

Dogs can be walked in the castle grounds but cannot go in the cafe.

The Musuem and Atrium cafe is accessible by lift and ramp to both levels ant the terrace. You can drop of and there are some spaces and disabled parking also.
