If you like a nice walk start at Sandwich Quay, it’s about a half hour walk along a path that is not muddy and perfect whatever the weather, keep going through the golf course (it’s well posh so keep you dogs under control and stay...More

You pay the toll £7 to park right next to the beach. It’s great for motor homes and campervans. The beach is shingle but there’s sand when the tide goes out. It is clean, there are toilets although they closed them early one afternoon without...More

Walked from Sandwich itself along the river and to the beach. It’s a good long walk with plenty of wildlife to see, usual seabirds but we also spotted a Seal just 100 ft off the beach where we were sitting. The beach is stony but...More

All the whining people on this site need their bumps felt but, thankfully, at least they won’t come here and ruin what is a fantastic day out. There is a toll of £7 to access the beach by car, but motor homes and horse boxes...More

I live here and it's very quiet, tidy and tranquil. I often enjoy a nice jog or a walk along the beach - with or without the dogs. It probably isn't the most appealing beach for Vacationers as it is a pebble beach. They also...More

Park your car and walk. The parking warden is a jobs worth. Really spoils your day.. it's everyone's beach. Everyone's sea.

Well I was horrified to have to spend a flat fee of £7 to visit this beach. For this money you can park very near the pebbley beach. It is also huge so you are likely to have a substantial spot to yourself. As the...More

A disgrace to charge £7.00 toll to see a beach that is our heritage and natural right. Typical of pompous golf club.
