Lovely quiet beach landscape. We walked along the beach and enjoyed a picnic in our camper van. There is a car park with toilets at one end of the beach road, however you can park vehicles on the grassy/sandy verges anywhere along the road.

Drove up, saw the toll and turned around, as did numerous other vechicles. In order to get to the beach you to drive through the toll since access by road is over a private estate. (so what!) The toll is £7. Totally excessive in my view.

Visited today and like others was surprised at the £7.00 toll to drive onto the beach with no prior warning. However although we only stayed a few hours and took a long walk all along the front it would be a great secluded place to spend the day providing you take everything you need, picnic, windbreaker etc. Some great views... This beach is so long that we could easily find part of it all to ourselves. The weather comes in quickly though so be prepared for everything.

We followed the sat nav to a beach to walk our dog for half an hour or so. We arrived at the toll late afternoon and were asked for £7.!! We were shocked to say the least as we just wanted a short time on the beach. We were told this was private property. It was implied they could charge... More

If you want a quiet, peaceful afternoon, away from all the hustle and bustle of other beaches, then this is the place to go. Lovely scenery, a stroll past the bird observatory and a quiet, secluded beach.

After paying a man to enter the bay estate you can then head towards the beach via passing some impressive dwellings. The beach is good with plenty of sand showing at low tide. If paddling is your bag expect a long walk to the surf. Now if your a fishing bod leave your rod in the car as there is... More

I was quietly surprised by this wonderful space very peaceful place. not many people and a huge shingle beach landscape that s very expansive. I was surprised by the toll charge of 7 pounds, but definitely worth if for the serenity and surroundings.
