Accessible Art & Fab Artists in Residence
Jul 2021
Lovely little gallery displaying & selling accessible art works. There are some artists in residence too so it is lovely to chat to them about their background & work. Fascinating guy who used to work in theatre set design & production who I hope to chat to again so will definitely be going back. A wide range of art for sale to suit all tastes & budgets. Not far from Morrissons supermarket with lots of other lovely shops nearby so worth meandering around the streets to find it.

Community Focussed Art Project Gallery
Jan 2017 • Family
The Pharmacy Gallery may not be an attraction in it's own right, but if you are in the area it is worth dropping in. The gallery not only sells pieces of art work but they also run community focussed art projects, a great initiative. If you go to the Museum across the road you can see a restored donkey used in the 1960's to take seaside photos with children sat on it, I was told this was restored by people with learning difficulties. Great project worth supporting.

Community Art Project in tthe Old Town
Jun 2016 • Family
Set amid the arts regeneration neighbourhood of Margate's Old Town, the Old Pharmacy Gallery is the shop front for community arts groups' workshops elsewhere in the building. Project Workers are on site.

I have bought two interesting pieces here produced by people attending their classes. It's worth a look, and prices are low.
