Deal is just unique, boasting a beach from where you can gaze out to France; watch the ships in the English Channel; and visit the only pier built since WW2. The architecture of the properties along Beach Street is enchanting, with so many quirky designs,...More

This beach is all pebbles. It is very clean. Be careful when exploring at the waters edge as the ground does drop away suddenly.

Beautiful walk along prom to Sandown Castle and back. Sea alive with whitebait, mackerel eating whitebait and a sel eating mackerel. What could be better? Fantastic area.

Another pebbly English beach that you need shoes to walk across. There were lots of people swimming but watching them hobble over the pebbles was humorous. The beach stretches for miles in either direction and we had a little picnic on the beach watching birds,...More

this beach is lovely for child they can stand and play, throwing the pebbles in the water and enjoy having no dogs on the beach during the summer months

Very clean beach to walk on, with good dedicated paths for both walkers and cyclists, great views out to sea and very good for daily walks.

My husband & I walked along Deal beach in the sunshine Yesterday & it was beautiful. Lots of places to stop off & pick up a drink or ice cream and lots of people fishing & swimming. Near to the town centre & hotels too

Went here for a swim today. Good for that. No facilities we could see in the way of toilets, but there is plenty to eat and drink in pubs and cafes nearby. Ok for a stony beach.

If you don't like sand blowing around, this is the beach to go to. No rubbish to be seen and dog free in the summer months between normal times.

Yes, dogs are permitted on the beach, as long as they're kept on a lead, and the owner clears up any mess.
