This is a lovely beach when the weather is nice. You can go for a stroll in the morning or the evening and enjoy the vast views of the English Channel, with occasional glimpses of France. I would definitely recommend going for a walk there

Great for walking, running, and cycling.... More

This is a long, steeply shelving pebble beach which is clean and never crowded. I wish it were sandy as it isn't easy walking across the pebbles.

Unspoilt and good for walking. Plenty of cafes at one end. Lots of interest along the shore. Buy also enough space to not be crowded.

There are plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants near by to stop at all with nice views and a lovely pier in Deal. Plenty of freaks here air as you go... More

Away for a trip with our dog who is only 18 months old and despite his Labrador 'ness' we were not sure if he would cope with the beach. He has been to many and indeed we live by the sea but Deal beach is a stone beach. Well we need not have worried, off he ran without a care... More

Great for swimming, fishing, and generally lounging around! Steep beach, good for getting into the water quickly. Not ideal angle for sunbathing though.

If you walk on the promenade on a Sunday in the summer, you will pass two castles (Deal and Walmer), you can stop by the RNLI station in Walmer, listen to the bands playing at the Deal Memorial Bandstand in Walmer and you are passing close enough to the restaurants on the Strand in Walmer that you can get a...
