Came here on a windy Saturday afternoon. It was a nice little walk up to the needles and the National trust tea room. Very friendly staff who were attentive and great viewpoint from the cafe. The needles battery was closed as it is low season...More

Plenty of things to see and do, and if you visit during the Summer school holidays there's a weekly firework display.

We took in the views from the viewing point in the wind and rain, but the tea room soon gave us that warm feeling again. Lovely 40’s style service with the sounds of the times on the radio. Lovely teas with some nice nibbles.

Staff were good, a lot of money but I do realise it goes towards preservation of the needles. No cards accepted, charged £2.50 for cash machine,£5.00 for car park ,even if weather was bad and you couldn't use the cable car or boat

I wanted to see The Needles close-up, avoiding the fun fair at Alum Bay. So we chose to visit The Needles Battery. We had to use the Alum Bay car-park for £5, then walk on National Trust land to the top of the hill. This...More

Wow! What a place. Please don't be put off by the military theme since Mother Nature and warm scones are the stars here. This has to be one of the most beautiful and slightly terrifying places to visit in the whole of the UK. The...More

I thought another thing when I arrived there. It is far and it is only the cliff and some shops for souvenirs. It is far away from the point to see the white rocks

Amazing views from the battery. Just make site it is a clear day when you visit. We were lucky and the sun was shining, you can see for miles.

Closed Xmas/Boxing day, New Years Day, but only open weather permitting 10am to 4pm. Hoteliers will have more info, this is a bleak, windy location, £5 parking. We went mid September, good luck Xmas time.
