College Lake is a marvellous place for birdwatchers, but also for the general public. It's wonderfully peaceful, a lovely place for walking. There are good resources for children too. I also enjoyed spotting lots of different wildflowers that I hadn't seen before.

College Lake is great for families and on your own There is lots to see walking round with children. Very educational. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I visited with my partner, but I would feel very safe walking here on my own. It's a lovely environment, very peaceful and it has well marked trails.
