Park in Tring railway station and meander through the woods until you reach the hills. By no means a tough climb for seasoned walkers but a good walk for the less fit. Once at the top the views are great and then treat yourself to...More

Lovely Hills to wander over and see some very nice landscapes from every side. Drive up the narrow road to what seemed to be a free car park and then consult map to decide on a walk. Get a very nice day and find a...More

As we visited on a lovely day, the views simply breath taking and the scenery was incredible. The waymarked walks were very clearly sign posted and were a little challenging but very rewarding. Quaint and very special, definitely worth a visit.

is always a good place to go, you get a good walk, watch people flying kites, remote control planes, and the views accross Aylesbury vale are brilliant , not commercialised just an ice cream van, a relaxing place to walk and sit on the grass

We pedaled from the Grand Union Canal past Tring railway station and after a couple of miss directions, caused by a lack of signs, we arrived at the top of Ivinghoe Beacon. The views were brilliant and every body was so friendly.

A high point in both senses. Parked here for a short walk & are not disappointed. Good views over surrounding area - almost 360 degree view. Underfoot was quite dry but undoubtedly would be quite muddy after rain.

Considering this hill is not particularly high (I measured 235m with my altimeter), relative to the surrounding vales, it provides a fantastic vantage point. The walk itself has about 20 minutes of moderately steep hiking, depending on your chosen route. It is iconic of the...More

Ivinghoe Beacon is amazing, the views are tremendous, great walk the dog, and also great if you are a photographer. We are soo lucky having this on our door step, as well as Aldbury Nowers.

You can drive on towards Dunstable for about 5 mins and visit the National Trust cafe on Dunstable Downs which gives excellent views over the countryside whilst being nice and warm at the same time. The food is good and... More
