Wasn’t quite as much to see as we had expected, but still a very enjoyable visit. Attractive old village street, although a pity more buildings couldn’t be opened up. Very comprehensive museum, although only very limited disabled access. Boat trip enjoyable, with an excellent commentary.

Very relaxed museum, somewhat outdated in terms of (lack of) multimedia use. Offers a nice walk on the premisses. The pub is a winner: friendly staff and nice cool refreshing drinks.

We were fortunate to have perfect weather to visit this unique village. Step back in time and relive the lives and hardships of the 1700s. The museum is a must and needs at least 2 hours to take all the information in, very well presented...More

The car park isn't that big but spaces are big enough for motor homes with good turning space.

Hi, We are camping in the New Forest and we will be visiting Buckler's Hard with our dog. Does anyone know whether dogs are allowed in the museum and on the boat trip along the river please? Thanks.

I am sure that dogs will be allowed on the river but not sure about the museum other than guide dogs. We didn't do either as we were already on the river -sailing. I hope this helps? Mic
