Just returned from a brewery tour with my dad and husband, I was the nominated driver. This was a great way to spend the afternoon and fantastic value for money, very informative information about the history of the brewery which was witty and engaging. The tour was just as interesting, which lasted about an hour. We then returned to the... More

Well worth the drive from Bournemouth. If you want value for money, some knowledge, and a very pleasant alcohol experience - give it a try. Nigel was extremely well versed as our guide and added to the whole experience. Personally the Razor Back is excellent and the 49ers could induce a sense of mischief very quickly. If they ever consider... More

I visited this brewery with a group, one of whom was severely disabled. Although it was not possible for this person to manage the complete tour, the brewery guides made an extreme effort to show him areas that did not require climbing the stairs, and explained the process of making the beers in great detail. Free beer was in abundance before and... More

Was given a gift voucher for a visit which we used on a drizzly Sunday afternoon in March - After an informative chat about the history of the brewery ( and a couple of complimentary swift halves of Razorback!!) we had a wander round all parts of this local brewery - Very interesting and well explained and then back to... Visited yesterday and what a great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. We booked on the 2pm tour. The actual tours starts and finishes in the small bar, with great hospitality. There was so much information from our tour guide Steve, including the local history of the brewery as well as the brewing and we got to smell and... More

This was our first time on a brewery tour and it did not disappoint. "Hello, Welcome. Would you like a beer?" Said our very charming, charismatic and knowledgeable guide Hayden as soon as we entered the bar. Soft drinks are also available for those that are driving. The tour around the brewery is very informative but in a fun and... More

The tour started as soon as we signed in, and entered the Tap house, we were made welcome with a glass of Razor Back Ale right away by our host and Tour Guide, Nigel, a most entertaining and friendly person. Very interesting and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Managed to keep you interested throughout the tour. This lasted... More

A group of 12 of us toured the brewery. A half-pint of Razor Back (formerly Best Bitter) started the tour, with a witty explanation of the history and general layout of the Brewery. Then upstairs to see the malts, the tun room, and downstairs to look round the chilling and barrelling rooms. The attention to detail in the brewing process... More
