A pleasant and quirky little museum very much worth a visit if you're in Eastleigh. The staff / volunteers are very welcoming and happy to chat. As another reviewer has noted - fantastic coffee which is very reasonably priced.

Hoped to see some photos of the town centre which incorporated a tailors shop a relative ran many years ago. Sadly couldn't find any but enjoyed those which were available.

This is such a small museum that packs some lovely little exhibits into essentially 2 rooms. The main exhibit is a wartime house and a railway exhibit (due to the Ashleigh railworks). The back room houses temporary displays which change often and are often splendid...More

A small and very well run attraction in the centre of town. Lots of items depicting the past. Railway memorabilia and maps of the area from many years ago. A contribution is all they ask. Also a small cafe for a decent cup of tea!!

My family come from Eastleigh and we're all employed by the railways, so if you are interested in local history, and memories of the southern railway then this place is for you.
