Took advantage of the snowy weather and visited this lovely little haven ...water, woodland, various birds, steam train for the young and the more mature with plenty of room for some fun amateur sledging...great family fun and all free apart from the train ride!

We had a brilliant day out walking around the ponds, riding on the train, having delicious snacks and icecream from the cafeteria and enjoying the playground area.

we had a day out with our 3 year old grand son, we found the staff very helpful and my grandson enjoyed his train ride. There is alo a small cafe on site ideal for snacks and refreshments. A good day out.
