I took Mum on the Countryman Dining Train for Sunday lunch as her surprise 80th Birthday treat. Brilliant service, wonderful food and the added nostalgia of travelling by steam train. A big thank you to all the staff for a wonderful job.

This lovely journey runs between two towns that are well worth visiting in their own right. The highlight for me was "The Alps" the steep climbs, particularly from the Alton side where the engines have to work hard and sitting back and listening to those...More

Went for a trip on The Watercress Line, on our way to Dorset, Staff Very knowledgeable. Seems expensive for just a short trip, They lose score for "No discount for Seniors", other Heritage Lines do give this discount.

Yes dogs are very welcome on our trains and even travel free for standard travel and special events, excluding RAT/Dining trains and Santa Specials.

There are approximately 350 tickets for each RAT. There are three people working behind the bar throughout the evening so queues are not an issue.
