Signed up for the lighthouse tour as I'd never been up inside a lighthouse before. There are a lot of stairs to climb at the start of the tour, after all you are climbing up inside a lighthouse. So people with a genuine fear of...More

Lovely day at Southwold. The pier is great and lots to see, the water clock and mirrors for example. The cafes on pier are very clean and have great service. Bet it’s lovely in the summer.

I have been coming to Southwold for some 23 years on and off an finally got to climb the lighthouse. This inexpensive but fantastic activity gives you both history and a view - and is good for your health.

Informative, funny and interesting. Tim, our guide, made it a much enjoyable visit and we learnt more than I thought we would for a very reasonable - and value for money - £4 each. Great views. Worth a visit.
