If one picture on a postcard could sum up an idyllic English Seaside destination it would have to be Southwold Pier. Decked out across the sea in the picturesque coastal town of Southwold, this pillared walkway has a magnetic attraction and something for everyone to enjoy! There's so much to do a whole day can drift by while you walk the planks and explore this historic icon. Please note: Our opening times are weather permitting and therefore can change.

Lovely little pier with a few quirky points of interest. The home made arcade machines are very funny and the outdoor hall of mirrors are fun and the water powered clock is cool. There's a couple of nice little shops filled with some nice unusual gifts. We didn't eat in any of the cafes or restaurants on the pier but... More

There was some sea related shops some amusement arcades which you would expect and not much else. Went in all the shops but t never found anything I wanted to buy. So a bit of a... More

A very expensive and poor flat white coffee with not even a small biscuit or chocolate on the side to soften the blow to my wallet Can't recommend.

A welcome change to some of the larger, very commercial piers, in better weather can imagine a relaxing time. The Boardwalk cafe provided a welcome cuppa after our journey to the coast.

Short but quirky pier in this lovely town. Automaton museum is fun but the food outlets are over priced and under quality.
