Really pleasant walk from the town centre in Southwold down to the beach then along the dunes to the harbour and river separating Southwold from Walberswick. Sea quite rough when we were there so watched the waves charging up the river before walking back along...More

Denes Beach is a great place for a stroll in the fresh air. The sands and dunes are beautiful. The beach is particularly popular with dog walkers. There is very little litter on the beach. Keep an eye open for the local wildlife - including...More

Fabulous beach and town, we love everything about Southwold and it has so much to offer. Independent shops, great pubs, good food, walks, not to mention the fantastic beach with its huts.

Southwold beach and town centre are worth a visit for peace and quite without the hustle and bustle of a large town. The walking is easy and a nice place to take a stroll.
