This turned out to be a confusing place to visit as we managed to go into the 'back' first so did not see the trail or signs we should have followed. Once we did it all made a bit more sense although unlike other EH...More

Sent here today. I usually get very excited about ruins, and there were interesting ruins and other architecture, but I found it rather soulless. I usually find an atmosphere, a sense of place, but I felt nothing here.

I wasn't expecting too much to see here due to other reviews but I was expecting a little more. Would nicer in the summer if you went and took a picnic.

Was just driving along and discovered this Abbey, lots of music around as there is a music school attached. Parking is good and very atmospheric.

We decided to drop into Leiston Abbey just before the end of our holiday as it looked like an interesting site. Exploring the ruins, we found several information boards that were interesting and the ruins were good to walk around with our children. Had we...More

interesting ruins to look at , and a grassy spot for a picnic. I think there are sometimes events here that may mean that the parking is restricted, but when we were there it was very quiet.
