Stayed at swaffham.... Breckland meadows campsite... V good. Did a walk to castle acre... Lovely people . Interesting walk tho a part of it was sort of not used... So we had to make our own diversion! Swaffham is a very interesting lovely little hamlet/town.

This 46 mile walk took us three days with a few detours for rest stops. We stayed in a delightful B&b in Little Cressingham on day 1, The Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham day 2 and finally Le Strange Hotel in Hunstanton. The walk is quite a straight route punctuated by the odd hill and road. Watch out for flooding... More

Quite a nice long day ride. If you start in Thetford then you can miss the busy A11 crossing. Parking near station easy. About half off road; half on quiet roads. Lunch options at various country pubs, McDonald's in Swaffham, or shop in Castle Acre. Nearest train station to other end is King's Lynn, about another 20 miles down quiet... More

There was a lot of walking along the military shooting range. Not as flat as it is advertised. Done many long distance walk will not be repeating this ever.

We were blessed with good weather for much of our walk along Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coast Path. We generally found very friendly staff at the hotels, pubs, restaurants and B&Bs. Most accommodation and food was very good. However the Peddars Way itself is mostly very straight and runs between high hedges so you see very little of the... More

Having completed the Offa's Dyke path from Chepstow to Prestatyn, we thought a gentle stroll through Norfolk, would be ideal. We started from the southern end and found the path to be easy to follow and well kept. However after Castle Acre it gets very tedious and given the option, the best plan would be to drive to the coast... More

This walk is fantastic if you are in to bird watching, we had a great time spotting birds we just cannot see local to us. With it being Norfolk it's pretty flat, so ok for most people.

Hit Hunstanton, from Thetford, across country. Slight detour, where someone restricted a byway.................. Easy route, try not to make ruts..........

Not always well signposted but still easy to find your way. Beautiful scenery. Trail not too busy. Weather can be very windy along the coast so do take protective clothing.
