Visit to Jabalpur

Incredible experience of the white water falls. The mist caused by the waterfall and the resultant rainbow is simply amazing

The Narmada river is truly a lifeline of the states of Gujarat and southern parts of MP. Even though it is a peninsular river, it has a perennial flow, which means that the Dhuandhar falls is a site to behold even outside the rainy season. We went in late December and were treated to an awesome sight. The falls are... More

It is must visit place of Jabalpur. But prefer to go there in early morning or in monsoon season. We visited it in Dec-16, so could not see this fall in its full form. Too much crowd is there. But place is very good. Ropeway ride over the fall was extremely great. If u love to click it gives best... More

it's a must must visit for all nature lovers. Avoid eating nearby as it's not hygienic and not tasty either (We found 2 strands of hair in noodle) neither the Dosa was good. but the scenic view is just mesmerizing and make you forget all the loopholes. Ropeway cost you around 80bucks and you can reach here by hiring cab... More

Dhuandhar is a fall situated in the river narmada , around 20 KMS from the city of Jabalpur. Here the holy river narmada creates a water fall between marble rocks , as the water falls from height does produce sound and water vepors which luks like smoke ( dhuan) thats why the fall is known as dhuadhar fall.

we took the ropeway to go to the other side of the falls. the falls are not spectacular to look at though.its a good time pass . as the narmada traverses the falls, it flows into the small valley/alleys of marble rocks. in fact, that looks more awesome to me. If MP tourism can make arrangements for being near the... More

Few Kilometres from Jabalpur city is this Niagra Falls of India. The Natural waterfalls in River Narmada is a heavenly view. The water falls with such force that vapour rise giving effect of smoke.. therefore it's called Dhuandhar. You can have a full day picnic here and to nearby places like Bhedaghat, Chausath Yogini Temples.

The Marble rocks boat ride and trip to the Dhuandhar Falls should be part of your top two to-do things in Jabalpur. The falls is a short drive from Bhedaghat. Plan on spending a couple of hours at the falls. While you reach one side of the falls, there is a rope-way that if you take ( it is a... More

The falls were massive when we visited. It was a majestic view to watch the water gushing through the marble rocks that surround the place. There is a rope way service which will give u a great view. But there r not many shops or restaurants around other than the 100s of marble souvenir selling shops.

You can take the cable car across the falls, or pay Rs200 and have your car enter all the way to the fall view... while the falls themselves are spectacular, the area around the falls is very messy because there are lots and lots and lots of people visiting, and not place to through garbage.
