Take a walk along Garam Sadak while the Sun is up. Its quite and enjoyable. If you are alone make sure to plug in your earphones and play a nice number while you take this walk.

Afterall, its a nice stroll on the path... a pedestrian road connecting Subhash Chowk to Gandhi Chowk... view is good... Should not compare but Camel back road of Mussoorie is much better... Go if you have time...

The pedestrian way to get from Subhash Chowk to Gandhi Chowk, and vice versa. Lovely views of the gorge down on one side of this s 1.3 km and 25 minutes stroll, while steep slopes with religious paintings on the granite walls, steps to private homes and apartments on the other.

Bus Stand area, Subhas Chowk and Gandhi Chowk are main centres of activity at Dalhousie. There are many routes to reach Gandhi Chowk from Bus stand. 1 A longer route for vehicles takes you directly to Gandhi Chowk but tourists may not find it attractive. 2 Second short root is to take some steps near bus stand and hit Thandi... This road starts from Subhash Chowk and goes up to Gandhi Chowk. The scenery from this road was awesome. People staying nearby use this road for morning walk. Beware of monkeys on this road. It is better to keep distance from them.

This tree lined road connects Gandhi Chowk to Subhas chowk. nice to stroll.view of the valley and Dalhousie town is available.no vehicular traffic to disturb. In May this was the only cool road in Dalhousie.

Starts from Gandhi Chowk and goes around to the Bus Stand (from where it is called Thandi Sadak/cold road as it is on the shaded side as opposed to Garam Sadak/warm road on the sunny side). Has plenty of restaurants and booths serving a variety of snacks and meals. Try roasted corn cobs for a quick nutritious and economical snack.... More
