The area around this planetarium is very clean and tidy, one can expect a good shot of a photograph. Talking about inside is, it is not much informative, though students of schools can understand a better about planets and all.

We went here during the noon time and the park inside was quite clean and well maintained. The show were good depicting how life began on Earth. Seats were a little uncomfortable. Good for young kids.

Guwahati Planetarium runs daily shows.These shows are available in Assamese, Hindi and in English.It gives you a good glimpse of the available treasure trove assembled over centuries by the human explorers.

We went there with my 9 yr old niece and she loved the show.its for 30 min only but enjoyable for kids. Different languages show have different timings. So check before going.
