This is a small planetarium located on the bank of River Brahmaputra. Serving as the only planetarium of North East India, students and astronomy enthusiasts visit it frequently. The shows in the planetarium are quite informative. Simple language is used to explains the details of solar system, constellations and milky way. Worth a one time visit to delve into atronomy.

Thsi is small compare to you find planatauriem in big cities like MUMBAI/DELHI ect. but it is beautiful. Very close to Nehru garden and High court and on the river front of Brahmaputra nice place to visit with family you can end plesent evening with your loved once.

This place has a lot to give to kids and youngsters who have ample enthusiasm to learn and know about the space and extraterrestrial objects. It has an amazing setup in place to illustrate some of the phenomenon occurring in our universe. There are shows on Solar System. There is a ride to the Sun from earth and back home.
