Visit to Sanctuary was very successful, Pobitora is mainly famous for its great Indian One-horned rhinoceros. Besides rhinoceros, the other animals are leopard, wild boar, Barking deer, wild buffalo etc. Assam’s Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is also home to more than 2000 migratory birds and various reptiles. It is also an Important Bird Area. Enjoyed beautiful Sanctuary.

All the hype about kaziranga and we think Pobitora doesn't have much to offer. But in reality I saw more rinosaurous in Pobitora then in kaziranga. We were lucky to see one mother with her baby from upclose. Which might be dangerous. But I guess they are used to seeing the safari jeeps around. Until I saw the mother and... More

Had a wonderful visit to both shillong and around Guwahati. Would like to recommend a very good guide cum driver for sight seeing in and around Guwahati-Shillong-Cherrapunjee. His name is Ramen Burman and no is 7002843486. He picked us from Guwahati airport and took us to Shillong on the way he guided us on Barapani. Again he picked us up... More

Located at around 1.5 hr drive from Guwahati city, it is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary. Though small it houses a large number of rhinos and other animals. Even we witness very large size rhino here. This sanctuary is swarming with various animals and large no of migratory birds. If you don't have time to visit Kaziranga or Manas this is... More

We saw about 20 rhinos! Entry fee plus jeep for two people was only ₹500 + ₹850 for just over an hour of safari. The sanctuary itself seems well maintained and the guides respected the privacy of the animals by not driving too closely and using a semi-electric jeep so as not to disturb them. Guides didn't speak English so... More

We visited Pobitora, during our stay at Brahmaputra Jungle Resort. The wild life sanctuary is less than an hour away from the resort owing to the bad roads. The safari experience was fantastic being able to spot Rhinos, migratory birds and a drive thru the orchid forest. We were upclose with a couple of Rhinos started playing with each other,... More
