It is the smallest River Island of assam. The place is very beautiful . If you want to visit this place you will get boat and ferry from uzan bazar and fancy ghat.

Be prepared for a ferry ride, chaos and crowd if you take the government run ferry... Temple is good, but cleanliness is a concern.. Be prepared for a good exercise as there are so many staircases!

Umanand temple situated middle of Brahmputra River. On the bank of Brahmputra river boat are available for peacock island for woreship of Lord Shiva. This island is smallest river island in the world.

the total steps would be around 60 but take 10 steps take rest then take 10 steps take rest and this way you can reach in 10-15 minutes.from the ferry ghat to uma nanda temple there is lot of sand and big rocks and the place... More
