These are beautiful gardens. We have visited twice and always friendly staff, clean bathrooms and well maintained grounds. The gardens are private and only open on select dates in the summer. We usually visit in the morning to avoid the intense heat and then we go out to lunch. There are maps and it is free to visit. Parking is available onsite .No picnics or formal photography is allowed.

My mother-in-law and I visited the gardens in June. We pulled into the parking area it seem very busy. We questioned whether to stay because of the pandemic. We felt very safe. We are so glad we stayed. It was spectacular, we can not wait to go again next June. We did not get to stay as long as we wanted. We did get lots of beautiful photos.

The Schnormeier Gardens are amazing. We've been to many botanical gardens and this one rates as one of the best anywhere. 55 acres of well manicured grounds, 10 lakes with the main lake full of large koi and flanked by a stunning Frank Lloyd Wright influenced home. Only open several days a week in June each year so you have to plan ahead. also, it's free.

These private gardens are only open once a year in June from Thursday - Sunday. There are 9 (?) different garden areas. Absolutely beautiful. I am amazed that one family can create such wondrous places. Free parking, free entrance. We finished our day with a trip to Utica for Velvet Ice Cream.

We heard about these gardens from a friend. They are only open at least one weekend a year. In 2020 the gardens were open during the entire month of June. Private events may be scheduled for groups of at least 25. There is no charge for admission or parking but they do accept donations. Our visit was near the end of June. The gardens are laid out around a lake and one is free to wander wherever one wants as there aren't any paths. Some flowers were still in bloom and the water lilies were just starting up. This was a very pleasant three hour visit.
