Alum Creek has it all. Horse trails, hiking, mountain bike trails. Busy trails and quiet, you'll never see anyone trails. About 26 miles long from N-S, Alum starts out way north with the original creek flowing slowly into the reservoir. Great for kayaking, canoeing, birding (eagles and osprey nesting at the north end). As you go South to Howard Road... More

First time ever going...it was very nice. It keeps your interest and it is not shabby either. Plenty to look at...and the end was free hot chocolate and cookies for the kids. Great holiday outing with the grandkids.

Have never been to the light show, but it was well worth a visit. We were delightfully surprised by all the lights. The drive from the entrance to where you pay and enter the lights is quite a distance. It wasn't terribly crowded and you could take your time. Excellent and some unique displays.

This is a lovely place for walking and enjoying nature. But at Christmas it is a magical place for the Alum Creek Festival of Lights. You can drive around in the warmth of your car and see a spectacular light show. At the end you can go to Santa's house and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. In summer the paths,... More

Visited Alum Creek State Park for the Fantasy of Lights. Was delightfully surprised. Getting there was a bit confusing. The well lit and decorated area on the West side of the road is where you go after the lights for cocoa, cookies, and to see Santa. A simple marquee marks the entrance to the lights on the East side of... More

The fall colors here are great so see from any of these activities. -I mountain bike here frequently. Both trails are technical and an absolute blast. Enjoy - bank fishing is below average in the area - boating is as good as in gets for central ohio - hiking is mellow but scenic

Alum creek offers many ways to have fun depending on what you are looking for. The body of water itself offers a lot of activities, from fishing 🎣, water skiing/boarding 🏄🏼, kayaking 🚣🏼, to overall motor boat adventures. It also has a couple nice beaches 🌊! There are many nice land areas from which you can fish around the entire... More

I stopped by Alum Creek State Park off of Cheshire Road..... the place was full of boaters and just the serenity of the park makes it a great travel destination in Central Ohio.... I travel all over the world but places like this, close to my home, are very super duper!!!!!!

There is a nice walking path, dog park, campgrounds, and marina. The lake is big enough to fish, duck hunt, or other water sports.
