We wandered the place on our own. It's a cute village with some interesting canal history. You won't be able to see the inside of the historic buildings that are not being used as stores unless you are there when tours are available. I was...More

We always enjoy stopping here to see what they have new. Shops have changed but with fall in the air, we enjoyed walking the street and enjoying the leaves changing. Fishers jewelry store, Caldersburgh trading co and the leather shop are our favorites!

We visited this canal town, which thrived from the 1820s-60s, on the way home from Zoar and Schoenbrunn villages mainly to see the museum. My husband remembered coming to the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum when he was young and being amazed by the plethora of artifacts. After...More

I was very impressed with the care that was taken to restore these old buildings and to keep them in good condition. The village looks very classy and dignified. The shops were interesting, with friendly storekeepers. I was disappointed that, although we paid for the...More

We had a great time in Roscoe Village. We spent the weekend in Berlin, in Amish country and our friends who own the bed and breakfast that we stay at there, told us about this place. Everywhere is closed in Amish country in Sunday's, so...More

We found Roscoe Village to be truly interesting and entertaining. The costumed interpreters were very knowledgeable about their trade and their building, and answered questions and demonstrated their trade with skill and enthusiasm. (There was only one we spoke to who didn't seem eager to...More
