We attended an NHL game (Blue Jackets defeated the Mighty Ducks 4-2) and had a great time. Food and drink were reasonably priced, too.

There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the arena district. It was very easy for us to find a place to eat and watch the other games after attending the hockey game without going far!

There are a handful of restaurants in the area and some decent bars. The arena itself is pretty nice for events. You will have to pay for parking and expect some inflated prices everywhere but it is since area.
