Wonderful place to wander around and find a nice restaurant. Blue Jackets are a huge attraction in NHL season. Many places to get a beer and find outstanding food. Parking is not the greatest but OK. There are garages and parking lots for a fee.

People, especially foodies, rave about the Short North. I personally prefer the calmer- and in my opinion- safer and less claustrophobic arena district where you can actually find a parking space or walk with with a stroller or a wheelchair, or catch a hockey game in the arena as I did. Yes there are eclectic stores and restaurants on High,... More

The Arena District is as the name suggests - the neighborhood centered around Nationwide Arena. It's also home to Huntington Park (home of the AAA Clippers) and and the Promowest concert venues (Express Live, A&R Music Bar, The Basement). Also home to a lot of red brick offices and condos. I pretty much only visit this neighborhood to go to... More

Want to catch a concert, watch the Bluejackets at the NW Arena or hitup some of the most fabulous places to eat and shop? Then go to the Arena District, which is also very close to Short North, the GCCC(Convention center). Take the Cbus transportation (FREE!) bus up and down High, it'll drop right off at Arena district. Also nearby... More

This area of Columbus is a renovated neighborhood that is home to Nationwide Arena, home of the Blue Jackets Hockey team and many different concerts and special events. It also has the stadium that is home to our AAA baseball team, the Columbus Clippers. Even when no game is on, it has some of the really fun restaurants all in... More

Cool places to visit and dine. A nice area to walk around. Again, this area was a dump in th 90s, now is really nice.

Free bus to all districts of Columbus. Handy to AirBus which takes you to and from airport for $2.75. Restaurants galore. Many hotels.

Grew up in Ohio, went to Ohio State then left in the 80's. I have been back a few times, most recently this month. I finally have gotten an opportunity to get out and explore a a little and the Arena District was one of those pleasant surprises, even on a cold, rainy day. Shops, restaurants, and other attractions make... More
