After reading the glowing reviews, I found that it was not all what I had thought or hoped. VERY spread out, the places of interest are few, and very far between. While it does have some interesting architecture, that too is not easily found. We...More

German Village is a nice, pricey area of Columbus that hosts some really good eats depending on your cravings. Here's my favorites: Lindsey's - best quiche' and chopped salad ever; Mohawk - potato pancakes and crustless pizza are yummy; Thurman's - best burger anywhere -...More

We went to the German Village, specifically to eat at Schmidts. It is a small section in downtown with cobbled streets, nice older homes with a few places to stop/browse. Parking was not hard for us as we parked at Schmidts then walked around after...More

What's not to love about the brick streets and lovely homes in the area. Great coffee houses, restaurants, bookstore, etc. Schiller Park is a wonderful little park. Stop at one of the bakeries and don't miss Helen Winnemore's.

I would not park in a business parking lot unless you are patronizing the business. Towing regulations are posted and do occur. There is no large public or private parking lot; this is essentially a neighborhood; many... More
