Great Children's Museum for All Ages
May 2020
We have been members of this wonderful children's museum the past three years...and we're anxious for it to reopen in June. (Closed due to Covid-19--bah, humbug!!!--but I can see why. Everything is so hands on; they had to close. When it's open, make it a priority. It's #1! Not really sure on the last time we were there..It's been a while .guessing on the month...

Amazing Youth Learning Opportunities

Columbus has nowhere better to take your kids on a day off, except for maybe the zoo. It's entertaining for adults as well! The kids love the ocean area!

We have a membership. It is a great way to spend a day with the kids. Progress is my kids favorite. As a fun tip the rocket works with a any change.

Not Up to the Hype
Oct 2019
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I had many childhood experiences in COSI and I even took my own daughter to see all the cool things. Just a few years ago, COSI took away their interactive adventure puzzle. They replaced it with the dinosaur museum. The first time through is great but for a permanent exhibit, the dinosaur museum is subpar. I miss the interactive puzzles that once filled COSI. Now it's hardly worth going to see since nothing every gets changed or updated. I had a membership for three years with them and all that changed in that time was the Dinosaur museum and their mystical creatures exhibit.

Thanks so much for your feedback, and for sharing your concerns. We know that Adventure! was a visitor favorite, and that it is sadly missed. In regards to the AMNH Dinosaur Gallery, we attempt to keep the experience fresh with regularly-updated in-gallery programming, such as our new (as of March 2020) “Mesozoic Mammals” activity. For freshly updated exhibitions, we maintain a full slate of incoming traveling exhibitions, including (again as of March 2020) DC Super Heroes (open now through May 25th), AMNH’s ¡Cuba! (opening March 21st), and The Animation Academy (opening June 6th). We also work hard to both maintain and update our permanent experiences as we can—we will be installing new experiences in our Life, Space, and Ocean exhibitions sometime later this year. Thanks again for your feedback, so we can continue to improve the COSI experience.

Good place to visit in Columbus
Mar 2020 • Solo
I visited during my free time on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. The museum is massive and full of interesting exhibits. I was impressed with the historical counts of the native Americans who contributed so much to the area. Plenty for all to do and see across age categories. Close proximity to downtown restaurants, etc.

A fun trip for grandparents and grandkids
Feb 2020
COSI was a fun trip for my husband and I and our 2 granddaughters. Our main objective was a day of exploring the dinosaur exhibit with our 2 dinosaur loving granddaughters. They were so excited to see dinosaurs up close and personal. We also explored some other exhibits, but had to leave after 3 hours when the youngest went into meltdown mode. We did purchase a grandparent family pass for $180+ and have since returned to visit COSI again. It is a great way to spend a couple hours seeing the world thru a child's eyes.

A Child’s Wonderland
Feb 2020
For all the under seven-year-olds reading this, be sure to ask your parents or grandparents to take you to visit COSI as soon as possible! It is really cool there. They have tons of stuff to do and play with there. They even have a water table where you can do your own experiments without getting (too) wet! There’s a super hero room, a dinosaur room, and an undersea room – and many many more. When you go, plan on learning a lot of new things, having a fun time, and sleeping really well that night. There’s a lot of walking involved!

So Much To Do And Learn
Feb 2020
Even on a busy holiday we had no line at the ticket counter and the new garage had plenty of parking. Since I hadn’t been here in years I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little crowded at the different exhibits but we got to do and see everything our 9 year old wanted. The longest wait we had was for a mediocre pizza.
