On a country drive we made our way to the Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Not the best weather to hike so the drive would have to suffice. One of our stops along the way home was the Clifton Mill. It was beautiful in all of its winter wonder; thick ice cycles, snow on the ground, decorations from Christmas past... More

Went for the light display, not the Inn or the food. The display was impressive and worth seeing. The price was a little steep ($10) but not ridiculous. Doesn't have a lot of replay value so not sure we'd go back but it was worth doing once.

The mill itself is very nice and a lovely place to stop to see the covered bridge and the mill building (although it would be so much better to have a viewing spot from the covered bridge - they have grills over the windows that make it very hard to get a nice view and/or pictures of the water wheel... Drove down to see the Christmas lights.. Just a beautiful presentation! There is a small train village, manger display, Santa House and room and of course the mill, All lights go out every 30 mins or so and then the display with music is presented. It is $10 per person to get in and unless you are there when they... More

We drove an hour to the Clifton Mill Christmas lights display/show. Beforehand, I had checked it out on their website and there was no indication of a ticket price. I should have called. When we arrived, we found out that there was a $10 per person admission fee. This fee added up quickly for our family of 6. For that... More

We stopped by to check out the lights. Very well done. Impressed with the light show that is put on. The covered bridge is a nice touch!

Pancakes are plate size ... unappetizingly big; however, the overall breakfast was ok. Nice omelet, but they were out of biscuits. Sausage was overcooked as a side item. Waitress was inattentive and needed training on meeting customer expectations. A lot of potential here, but on 12/26/2016, they dropped the ball. May give them another chance. Omelet was a winner ...

We have been several time to Clifton to see the Christmas lights. It never gets old. Every year we go and it seems you see something new every time. Always a good place to take photos. Everyone joys our time there. Free parking but sometimes it can take some to park because of the traffic but it is worth the... More
