Had the chance to visit the CIA for a free tour and viewing of Student Projects. The recently remodeled building is quite impressive. Well worth a tour to see what is going on in artistic advancement. Amazed to find the video game projects that were set up to try. They have done well in adding coffee shops to the area... More

The Cleveland Institute of Art new location is at Euclid and E 115th street in the Northeast side of University Circle and is a school, not to be confused with the Cleveland Art Museum to the southwest. But like most art schools there is a public gallery and art displayed along the hallways. Just enter from the E 115th side... More

Check out the happenings on the Cleveland Institute of Art's website. There is always something going on. Recently went to the Chalk Festival which was fun.

Inspiration for doing art work yourself or for admiring what others have done comes in many forms. This is one of them. I came here to see what was on display and to find reason to enrich my collection of art books. If you need reasons to attend college, obtain a degree, specialize in art and to devote yourself to... Upon reading some of the other reviews, I must clarify the difference between the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art. CIA is a 5-year art school and the CMA is a museum. They are two different entities and not interchangeable. Yes, the CMA is a wonderful gem of Cleveland culture. The CIA is a top-rated art... More

The Cleveland Museum of Art is a repository for one of the world's greatest collections of art of all time. Recent additions and renovations make the Art Museum so brilliant. The everyday exhibits are world class, and the special exhibits are amazing. The CMA's Viva Performing Arts and Music series are brilliant, creative, fantastic, amazing, wonderful experiences.

CIA brought Alex Duenas, Jose Toirac and Meira Marrero to the Institute this Spring, providing Cleveland and the region with a unique opportunity to get to know the up close and personal work of these Cuban artists. Each one shared a unique account of the Cuban art scene today. All three artists were generous with their views of their work... More
